The short version
You can read this entire site without giving up anything. There are no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party analytics cookies. Nothing you do here is sold, shared, or handed to a data broker. If you give us your email, we use it to talk to you, and you can tell us to stop at any time.

Information we collect
We collect information in only two ways: you give it to us, or our hosting and payment providers record it in the ordinary course of running the site.
Information you give us
- Your name and email address, when you download a resource, request the playbook, or join the email list
- Account details, when you create a login for a course
- Anything you choose to put in an email, a form, or a booking request
- Payment details, when you purchase. These go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
Information collected automatically
- Aggregate, anonymous page view data through Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites
- Standard server logs kept by our host, including IP address and browser type, used for security and reliability
Cookies
There are no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party analytics cookies anywhere on this site. We do not run advertising pixels and we do not participate in ad networks.
Strictly necessary cookies are used in only two places, and only if you go there:
- Logging in to a course, where a session cookie keeps you signed in. It is set by our authentication provider and clears when your session ends.
- Paying, where our payment processor sets cookies required to complete the transaction securely and to prevent fraud.
If you never log in and never buy anything, this site sets no cookies on your browser.
How we use your information
If you sign up, we use your information to communicate with you and to market our own programs, articles, and events. That is the deal, stated plainly, and it is why the signup form exists.
Specifically, we use it to:
- Send the resource, playbook, or course material you asked for
- Send articles, updates, and information about our programs
- Deliver and support anything you purchased
- Answer you when you write to us
- Keep the site secure and working
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for any purpose you would find surprising given how you gave it to us.
We do not share or sell your information
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We do rely on a small number of service providers to run the business, and they process data only on our instructions and only to do their job: our website host, our authentication and database provider, our payment processor, our email platform, and our scheduling tool. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it. That link works, and it is the fastest route.
- Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct it or delete it, and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
- Decline to give us anything at all, and still read every public page on this site.

Data retention and security
We keep information as long as it is useful for the purpose you gave it, or as long as the law requires, and then we get rid of it. Course records are kept while your access is active. We use reputable providers and standard safeguards, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the page.
